Adorable Pointer Mix Boy Seeks Active, Loving Forever Family If you are looking for a very affectionate, good natured companion to add plenty of love, joy and companionship to your life, Bodhi would like to apply for the position of beloved family dog. This adorable, healthy 6 year old neutered male dog is super sweet. We is medium sized, weighing 35 pounds. Bodhi gets along with cats and smaller dogs. He is not a good match for families with small children, but would thrive in a home with kids older than 8. He is very energetic, and loves to get out and do stuff. He is looking for an active owner that loves to walk or hike, particularly on the local mountain trails where Bodhi loves to play in any body of water you may encounter. Bodhi can be a bit shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he is your steadfast companion. He loves to hang out with his favorite human, whether it's outdoors doing stuff, or indoors cuddling under the blankets or baking his favorite dog treats. He's not great being left alone for long periods of time, so he would do very well in a home where someone is home most of the time, or where there is a smaller canine companion to keep him company. Bodhi has a minor limp that occasionally troubles him, but it does not hold him back. Bodhi would very much love to find his forever home by Christmas. If you have room in your heart and home for this beautiful, affectionate boy, please fill out our adoption form here: http://petprosservices.com/adopt/ or give Mark a call toll free at 888-9-PETS-4U if you have any questions. |Rescue Me ID: 14-09-21-00080Sargent (male)|
Sargent (responds best to 'Buddy') was found as a stray & brought into a shelter before being fostered. He has been living with a new foster family & sharing a home with another older, female boxer mix. He is very tolerant and easy going of things around him. He really just wants to be near his human(s) and be loved. This guy will let you pet him until the cows come home! He lives for the love of touch, with much napping & food thrown in! He would love to be your home movie date or your book companion. He currently sleeps on a couch or the floor at night, but would also share a bed with anyone, if invited. He's a ready-made heater+body pillow in one! Cats get him REALLY excited, so he's best in a home without them. Sargent can be left in the house, day or night, without a crate. He will go outside willingly, but has a problem with polished stone, hardwood or tile stairs. A few steps are no problem, but flights are. He is best in a home without these kinds of stairs. He loves to go for walks & does well with a standard harness. He is happy to walk 2 blocks or 2 miles - maybe more! Also, he has done well at the dog park. He doesn't run much, but will gallop and frolic with other dogs. Kids are safe with this guy - he adores attention, is patient, and never snarls. Imagine a smaller version of 'Marmaduke', without the huge jowls! Sargent does not beg for food, though he's tall enough to rest his head on the kitchen table! He shows no aggression over food, toys, or people. He is just learning basic commands, but has learned 'sit', 'walk', 'treat', 'off', 'up' & 'back(it up)', so far. This guy will steal your heart with his long, sad gaze & cuddlebug ways. Let this buddy make your house a home! If you would like to meet Sargent, please fill out the online app today! Adoption fee is $75 and covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, Heart Worm test and spay/neuter. Adoption fees also allow us to continue saving animals. Please email ARRColorado@gmail.com for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. (Less)

Pointer Dogs can make good pets in Colorado if they match your IifestyIe. The English Pointer is a proud, elegant hunting dog. Pointers are good with children and devoted to their families. Pointers need to be with people and need to be socialized as puppies. Some Pointers can be skittish or aloof. Pointers need plenty of exercise and activity to be happy and healthy. This breed is best for a home with lots of open land.
