Rescue Me ID: 15-03-04-00305Marco (male)

Pointer Mix    Age: Puppy

Meet Marco! The beautiful bridle baby is 1 yr old and weighs 60 pounds. He came from our local animal controls pre-euthanasia list. He has a sad story. One week before his owner moved out of state, he got loose with his buddy Polo and couldn't be found anywhere. The owner moved to FL and 4 months later, Marco and Polo were picked up by animal control in front of their old house but the owner no longer lived there. They were chipped and the owner was called but he said he was not able to come get them. Marco is a great guy and gets along with everyone in his pack. He is crate trained and a model camper here. If you're looking for a loyal ... (Read More)hiking buddy, this is him! He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. We will be at the Petsmarts in Glendale, CO on March 21st. He is available for pre-adoption at this time and you can apply for him online at His adoption fee is $250. He is absolutely precious and is looking for his forever home! *Please note that not all dogs can attend every event.     Lily Pointer / Shepherd mix Female 6 years old 55 lbs. Who's a good girl? I'm a good girl! Lily here, and if my name doesn't say it all, I'm as sweet and easygoing as they come. I love being a dog, and soon I'll have the essentials of being a GOOD dog nearly mastered. I'm potty-trained, I know the basic commands, and I behave perfectly when left alone. I have gone through years of learning the ropes, and I just want to enjoy being a grown up now. I'm known to be incredibly loyal to my family. Speaking of family, I'm so lucky to be with an awesome foster family right now; I hope I can find the same type of people for my forever home. It's ... (Read More)so great to have people who understand what a genuine lady I am-between venturing out on long walks, sitting pretty for my people, and curling up and relaxing with them, I'm a real happy camper! My ideal home would be one where I was welcomed into the family forever. They would appreciate my sensitive side and welcome how very affectionate I am. I love snuggles and being pet, and I've even been known to share in conversation with humans in a cheerful howl. Like all of us though, I have some things I'd like to improve about myself. I get spooked easily by loud noises, and new people can be a little bit scary to me at first. My perfect forever family would understand my nerves, be patient with me, and help me work through them. Do you have the confidence and sensitivity to help me shine? Would a gal with a big heart and tons of affection warm up your home? Then it would be so great to meet you! Let's connect-please send an email to and fill out an adoption application on the website today! (Less)

Pink Lady is a great dog who has severe food allergies! She needs to stay on a strict diet of lamb, this does not cost much more than a regular high quality kibble. Pink is a great dog who loves people and likes playing with other dogs that she has been properly introduced to but would ideally like to be the only fur kid in the home! Pink has spent the last 2 years being tossed around from one rescue to another and we will not let her be tossed around any more! She is a great dog who deserves a forever family of her own!!! Rescue Me ID: 14-09-21-00080Sargent (male)

Pointer Mix    Age: Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Sargent (responds best to 'Buddy') was found as a stray & brought into a shelter before being fostered. He has been living with a new foster family & sharing a home with another older, female boxer mix. He is very tolerant and easy going of things around him. He really just wants to be near his human(s) and be loved. This guy will let you pet him until the cows come home! He lives for the love of touch, with much napping & food thrown in! He would love to be your home movie date or your book companion. He currently sleeps on a couch or the floor at night, but would also share a bed with anyone, if invited. He's a ready-made heater+body ... (Read More)pillow in one! Cats get him REALLY excited, so he's best in a home without them. Sargent can be left in the house, day or night, without a crate. He will go outside willingly, but has a problem with polished stone, hardwood or tile stairs. A few steps are no problem, but flights are. He is best in a home without these kinds of stairs. He loves to go for walks & does well with a standard harness. He is happy to walk 2 blocks or 2 miles - maybe more! Also, he has done well at the dog park. He doesn't run much, but will gallop and frolic with other dogs. Kids are safe with this guy - he adores attention, is patient, and never snarls. Imagine a smaller version of 'Marmaduke', without the huge jowls! Sargent does not beg for food, though he's tall enough to rest his head on the kitchen table! He shows no aggression over food, toys, or people. He is just learning basic commands, but has learned 'sit', 'walk', 'treat', 'off', 'up' & 'back(it up)', so far. This guy will steal your heart with his long, sad gaze & cuddlebug ways. Let this buddy make your house a home! If you would like to meet Sargent, please fill out the online app today! Adoption fee is $80 and covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, Heart Worm test and spay/neuter. Adoption fees also allow us to continue saving animals. Please email for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. (Less)
